LA Business Club (LABC) - Lincoln and Doncaster’s unique business networking group
LA Business Club (LABC) is a small, well-selected group of local businesses founded in Lincoln in September 2008. Using our combined resources we pool together to offer services and create business opportunities for each other.
LA Business Club has a simple philosophy – we ‘introduce to produce’. Word-of-mouth referrals are the oldest, most cost-effective form of finding new business, and our informal breakfast meetings are the perfect place for members to gain great business contacts through mutual introductions.
The aim of the club is to nurture long-term business relationships between members, placing the emphasis on taking the initiative to find introduction opportunities and networking leads for fellow members. This generates a feeling of goodwill throughout the group, with business being reciprocated to the introducer in due course.
LA Business Club’s network meetings are a great way to boost local sales, develop industry contacts and increase profits. It’s what business success is all about.
LA Business club - what makes us unique?
Well, the clue is in the title – we are a non-profit making club, not a commercial enterprise or franchise. The costs, facilities and refreshments for each breakfast meeting are simply divided between the members. Our sole aim is to get good local businesses networking in and around the local areas covered by each group and cross refer from one area to another when appropriate.
The key to the success of the club is a friendly and relaxed weekly meeting format, allowing trust, rapport and relationship-building between members to be established and maintained. To further continue the philosophy we only allow one business per service category.
LA Business Club has networking groups that meet in Lincoln every Wednesday and Doncaster on Tuesday mornings. All meetings begin at 8am (for early starters, tea and coffee are served at 7.40am) and run through to 9.15am.
